Above: Me looking collegiate outside the Harvard Department of East Asian Languages and Civilization.
I recently went on a big East Coast adventure around Massachusetts including Salem, Marblehead, Malden, Ipswich, and Harvard University! Here are some pics from fun timez on a major Ivy League campus–yes, it was a total Rory Gilmore moment for me.
Starting off our adventure having lunch–I got a bourbon cocktail, of course.
Above: The Harvard Museum of Natural History was totally worth the visit. Also surprising about this trip–I’m surprised all these museums allow photography!
Above: Loving that chartreuse rock in the lower left.
Above: I don’t mean to brag, but the UBC Beatty Biodiversity Museum here in Vancouver has a way better collection of things in jars, but the ones above here at the Harvard museum are nice, too!
Above: Oh no, taxidermy!
Above: I loved this tiny little church right in the heart of Harvard’s campus!
Above: Doesn’t this look like a post card? This is the student dining hall, and I swear there is no filter or any photo adjustment on this one above–it was just the light and time of day.
Above: this is inside the dining hall/theatre thing of the image above. Did you know this stained glass window was made by a woman? This is the Brimmer Memorial Window, designed and executed by one Sarah Wyman Whitman, installed in 1898!
Above and below: The disgruntled young lady has a yell (just kidding, I’m just talking away in these pics, thought they were funny)
Coat: It’s H&M but I got it at a Buffalo Exchange, so it’s consignment
Blouse: Forever 21
Scarf: thrifted, baby!
Skirt: can’t remember, it’s just a cheapie though
Sunglasses: Forever 21
